TASI celebrated the completion of 10 years on the 25th of August 2011.
The organization goes every bit by its Motto of For The Animators – By The Animators. They have been instrumental in the convergence of the huge fraternity (once small) at one place to celebrate the very dynamic art form Animation.
On the 25th of August the pioneers shared with us their years of Anifest and TASI in the form of a reverie of all the colorful posters and images created by them to invite all enthusiasts of animation to learn more and more about it. With workshops the year round, the number of membership has increased manifold.
It must have been a really humbling feeling for all the 10 vital members of TASI who work hard enough to present and bring so much forth every year and festivals of such magnanimity.

Mr. Vaibhav Kumaresh gave us his impressive view about the event of Anifest and Tasi, "It was an easy journey. It does feel good because of such response. It is more encouraging for us and good for the company as well. There was a good response from and outside Mumbai. This creates great connection as such events bring people all over much closer. For me, this is like a hobby and I have a commitment and responsibility towards it. I feel very happy since lots of artists have participated. We started with short sessions. Eventually, we made it for couple of day's event. Now, as you see it, it is a huge success. We also received good support and sponsorship. There was lot of investment from our end too. This whole event has succeeded cause of the support of volunteers too. So yeah, I am happy with the entire event that we have organized"
This is what Ranjit Singh had to say "The successful completion of 10 years is a big achievement for all those who have been instrumental in nurturing and supporting TASI. Personally I feel a sense of accomplishment as the goals that we set out for ourselves in 2001 have been more than achieved. Today TASI is recognised as a grassroots level organisation with its hand on the pulse of the upcoming generation of artists and the support of industry seniors. I am happy to say that today we have a fundamentally strong body that can serve the community well. Anifest India 2011 was a grand success and as usual we brought in a variety of subjects to the forefront. From Automobile design to medical animation, visual effects, comic art, health care for artists, feature films, episodic series, sound design, IP protection and monetisation to name a few. There was also a panel discussion on the emergence and success of the small studio model, which served as an inspiration to the new generation. It proved that there is a case to be made for independent entrepreneurs and that just getting a job need not be the only goal for emerging talent. The films screened at the viewers choice awards across all categories were a real treat. Due to the generous contribution of our sponsors, TASI was able to create an even more valuable award kitty for the successful films. The completion of the festival and the fantastic response it generated amongst the audience has once again made all our efforts worthwhile. It was heartening to see participation from all parts of the country. TASI is shortly going to announce a slew of monthly sessions and some of these are going to be traveling all over India. Overall, I'm thrilled at the commitment shown by the entire team including the volunteers who are our biggest asset."
A brilliant team working and celebrating- Hip Hip Hurray to them !!!
