TASI is back with yet another edition of ANIFEST and this year it promises to be bigger and better…. Anifest is one festival awaited eagerly by all the animation , vfx , comics and gaming enthusiasts and this is primely coz of the easygoing and friendly touch that it lends to the whole atmosphere….Freedom to speak , ask and learn is what makes this festival extraordinary by all means…

Well, this year round as well , we will have colorful balloons welcoming as we reach Fine Arts Society in Chembur from 25th to 27th August…

As always , ANIFEST offers a new perspective , a new dimension and topics that are form one realm of the entire process of coming out with a final product but have a very unique and distinctive approach to their nature..

Anifest 2011 boasts of an elaborative line-up of sessions keeping you hooked to your seats during all the three days.. A fine blend of commercial , technical , creative , educative , unconventional and novel content is at display for the audience this year round… And not to forget , screening of shortlisted TVCA films in various categories for people to vote for the best in each category…

Well, this is certainly one of the most awaited sections of Anifest as the participants , non- participants , viewers and jury watch the films that have been shortlisted for various categories of TVCA… Its great to see such wonderful pieces of work making their place on screens , being watched by hundreds of people and getting their due recognition and acknowledgement.. This time round too , the response has been tremendous with some new distinctive films making their way to the categories…

Here is the list of films selected by the pre-selection jury this year. There were two separate screenings held on 6th August in Mumbai, simultaneously for 2 jury panels, one panel for Student and Teacher films and the other for Commissioned and Independent Professional films.
