the past few years Autodesk Maya
… has become the tour de force for producing
stunning visual effects and creating excellent CGI work .Studios have seen
its potential and its strength that it can be easily incorporated into a

Maya
Embedded Language
The very source and strength of Maya
lies in its scripting language, called as Maya Embedded Language
commonly known as MEL. The interface of Maya, the commands in Maya are
all essentially MEL scripts which can be read and understood as MEL is not
much of a technical language as its predecessors. To get a firm grasp of the
inner workings of Maya, we at Maximus have initialized a special course on
MEL which covers its basic workings and the offers a deeper perspective on
the node-based architecture of Maya. The MEL Course covers not only the

Often the soft dreamy look of many CG
movies is attributed to the fact that many of them are using the Renderman
rendering engine developed by PIXAR. Renderman has been also used in
many high end visual effects movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean 3, etc.
Renderman offers a great advantage due to the fact that it offers rich visual
complexity, less render time and efficiently deals with large resolutions.
Since lighting is considered to be the backbone of CGI, the knowledge and
application of Renderman would be the pinnacle of a student’s portfolio.
