Hey! Fun stuff. Not bad at all. For now two major things popped right out at me (there could be more though). First of all, don't make the second penguin stand there like a statue. You're simply breaking the illusion of life. When I say that, it doesn't mean that you over animate stuff to make them look living. You just need to add very subtle movements in neck/head and eyes. It could be in the hips as well, for example a very subtle weight shift. But do not over animate that, or it will become noise.
Secondly, watch the last part where the second penguin hits the first penguin and poor guy falls down in water or something. When the second penguin prepares to hit the first one, make him anticipate for a longer amount of time. Right now, your anticipation is not working properly, at least for me. When I first saw your your animation I thought, "hey, what the heck happened?? How did he fall down?" And this is not a good news for you! My brain didn't register the hit, and I had to watch that part again to make sure that the first penguin is actually hitting the second one. Its not a big issue, but you need to fix it if you don't want people to ask you "hey, how did he fall down?" and you'll have to rewind the video and show them the shot again. I guess you wouldn't wanna do that. Well of course, that may not always be the case, but why not to stay in the safer side?
Now why do you need anticipation, whats the use of it? Well, as you must be knowing, it is to prepare our eyes and brain for something to happen. So, whenever you animate something, make sure its anticipation is matching or looking good with the final action. Or else, your shot will tend to look off.
I hope this makes sense to you.
Good job with the short film. I went through your animations, and they are all pretty good! Keep up the good work.
