Modeling with reference is better or without ref??

Modeling should be done using front n left profiles or just without reference...Wat problems do we come across to if we make any organic model without reference..??

hey gd q fr fresher.aaaaa i dnt think so tht reference is imp fr making model if u no prper anatomy of any living and non livng things.In most of production house reference is reqired bcoz they wnt model same as concept artist draw fr tht project or small feature film like little krisna.i thnk tht in strting we hav to modl wth refernce and aftr some experience we hav make mdl bt wthot reference so if hav mre q plz send me mail at kool_007nike@yahoo.com.
