Neat head , If ur goin to sculpt it then the details u have right now is more than enuff , i really cant complain on any part coz u urself will tend to change stuffs as u progress in a sculpting app.

If the model is not goin to be sculpted then i wud change few things,

Right now the forehead is kinda of lookin flat u can make it more round, check a good skull reference u will understand more .

Starting of the nose looks more steep , u might have used some reference to model this . try to check the 3/4 view of the reference if possible.

rest all looks good for now .

Nice work pal. Like the volume of the head, i think its balanced.

the cheeks, the chin all look good. the neutral pose of the face also will help in rigging the face

Keep at it.

Greetings,
Satish.

@canndis : Thank you canndis very much for the crits.. u r right, the skull area is a bit flat, i noticed it after you mentioned also the nose area.. thanks.. i will fix the forehead and the nose area now

I just started to explore sculpting package.. Mudbox, so it might take a while for me to get hold of it also i need to learn a lot more on anatomy and then i will surely work on this model for further detailing..

@sriram : ya brother, you have inspired me and helped a lot in learning..

@iluvblender : hey! its been long.. how r u? thanks for appreciation bro..

@ronybuster : yes.. self study is the best study, we learn a lot by just observation and understanding.. thanks buddy

its looking really cool so far man... I am not much of a texture guy... but giving a few pointer as I notice them.. the pink is a bit too much seen on the face .. same for the lips ... u might want to desaturate that pink... secondly it would be good for you to first get rid of the beard texture and the eye brow texture that u hav rite now... give a nice base and then paint over the hairs... they look too flat and stamp pasted rite now. the bald head area looks nice...

Smile eye texture update

thanks smoothcriminal, i agree with the lip area, its a bit too much pink.. i will desaturate the overall pink intensity..

for beard and eyebrow, i am not sure if my system will support the rendering of hair/fur.. i might have to use alpha maps as alternative.. but thats for last..

here is another update, just textured the eyes.. next i will get into Skin Shaders..

Nice going mate. as for eye lashes, why don't you render the eyelashes in one render layer and head in other and composite them?

Good work no doubt , but for crits I can see (dunno exactly) the texture in the upper and lower both stretching !!! and for good reasons if possible make an eyeball with some different texture maybe !!!!!See if u liked these crits or not !!!!

keep it up !!!!!

@kamalpahuja: thanks, i will probably make the eyelashes at the last.. i will surely let you know..

@Ekalavya: thanks Ekalavya, you crits are really helpful.. i will modify the eye color a bit.. as for the texture stretching, its a bit stretchy at the top.. but i managed to adjust as much as possible in texture itself..

Hi Dude.

The skin needs more work. This page should help you in using the shader.
