Favorite Forum for 3d/2d

we know keeping tantra on the poll choice was not
something smart. but you will be suppreised the amount of traffic we
get on this forum apart from being just about 4 months old cgtantra has
gaind absolute popularity. and is emerging as one of the top rated
forum in CG. Besides having a lot of International Membership and lots
of talented users we also have some of the top names in the industry.
Not only artist but people who have a big command over the Industry, We
do not compete to be the best but we hope to become a part of the ever
evolving part of the INDIAN CG community and growing trend of Indian Cg
artist.

hey soul, gr8 poll u hav started ......... 

4 months and already more than 400 members. that makes an average of
more than 100 members per month. wow, mind blowing. we r sure to getta
lotta sponsors for this forum i say.

and hey soul,  doktor?????!!!! plz explain.

and is the first vote urs??? if so which forum do u visit most?

thnx dolphin .. infact i had waited till tantra could have atleast 25
members. so that i could get myself register.. I was member no. 30th.
since then its been just crazy.. if you know what i mean.. yea bout
that vote it was me.. infact tantra is my most visited forum but
technically my resources come from another forum which i havn't
mentiond here. www.xsibase.com / Cast you'r vote the admins will feel
proud... and ofcoures in some kind of fear..that their server will get
affected due to so many regs....

@ andy : i wish that was possible... but no.. so here is wht i did.. i voted tantra at home and OTHER at work

though i visit cgtantra, cgtalk, & few more sites, but, i dont get an option of selecting 2 at a time, anyhow, how does it matter, though there r 400 members & hardly 40 guys taking part in cgtantra, regularly, if the participation level increases, thatz wat will keep the admins & mods & other tantrics happy, not just the poll

hey dynafx, u r right. can we do sumthin to make ppl really take
serious interest in cgtantra. maybe a few pics from the artist gallery
or finished works on the home page. that will definitely attract sum
major attention, i am sure. news articles or nterviews which r updated
atleast weekly....

its just an idea though.

A few ideas to increase the member database.

1)     
Look for a mod from each studio. There are enough forums on
CGT to distribute responsibilities. 
That way there would be less of burden on the current mods giving them
time to do their own things. This should generate interest in employees of the
studio to become active members. It is going to be a toughie but some one needs
to take it up.

2)     
This would also help in bringing studios together for a common
cause to uplift the state of our industry.

3)     
Shoot chain mails to your colleagues about CGT. It?s the place
to be for Indian animators. There are a good lot people I know who are still
not aware of the forum.

4)     
Take us on a picnic once in awhile. ;-).

I visit CGT and 3DT almost the same number of times.

Its really great to have people like u guys on tantra on the start of it.. its really gonna help make it big...



We'll love to have mods from all the studios. But we do need to have
few of them to be on tantra more often so that we can make them mods.



Here's somethin i wanna request u all guys thats really gonna help tantra a lot : To put cgtantra link in ur signatures on other forums u visit.
Thats gonna get more traffic to us.....the more traffic... the more
tantra steps ahead to get sponsers n help tantra grow......

1) That makes a lot of professionals visit tantra

2) Thats what is highly read by google and other search engines more often

3) Of course... gets us more people in our tantra community and more views to the works of people among us

to increase more traffic...well..for starters...i think the mods and
admins should start postin their own work.......inspiration
ppl!!!!....as of now...looks like its just me and soul postin any work
on a frequent basis.......so lets see some work!!



if we are to bring ppl in...they should be seein more work than talk
