Snappy animation is where the motion creates a visual snap so u get the impact of the pose or gesture its getting in2. Snappy animation is not jerky animation as some people unfortunately think. So basically if you have 2 keyposes the frames in between them will be closer or rather similar in pose to the previous key so that it snaps in2 the next pose. And then you cushion the pose so there's no jerk in the action.
In 3d, Basically what you have to do is create a breakdown pose in between 2 keys that is similar to and closer in spacing 2 the 1st key...
Another thing is the drag or the secondary movement that is also important in snappy animation. And lastly, cushioning! U feel ur animation is rigid coz itz not being cushioned...cushioning is very important as it softens up the visual snap and makes the whole action visually appealing...
