let me know for more proper lighting.....
it's a tunnel scene....
renderer : scanline
render time : 23 sec.
yet to be composed....

looks too flat
change focal lenght of your lense.
proportions look wrong as in your bin and the speed limight thing is too big
lights on the top reduce the glow and consider changing it to white

ok now since ur walls are so dirty(physical attribute) i would say make it's speculairty lighter
the left pavement is reflecting yellow light get rid of that as well
if you have a car model put it in so you will get a better idea of proportions
like the addition of arrows
make dustbin smaller and make pavement wider
the white straps on the rod make it look used a tip if you have road texture in photoshop with stipes on top just use magic wand tool to sample any colour on the road go to your strypes layer and just hit deleat see if it get rid of just enough pain
above the stipes layer get a cloudy immage mostly grey tones select the strips and deleat wot u dont see so it wont be pure white and will look withered
your speed limit board needs to be a bit less in height i would say knock out 10% roughly board size itself is fine though

will tell you more once i see the changes

and anything else....i want to make it look completely realistic...

well you are a long way from making it completely realistic best thing in that case i would suggest is take pictures of actuall tunnel and sap it on cant get more real than that

pls tell me ...here.. what improvements i can do with this scene... i am very well aware of d fact that there is a long way to go... i want to do it as best i can do it.... right now i m concerned only with the next step for improvements... so i request you to kindly suggest me the possible modifications...

1> make side walks wider, put a car in the scene to get a sence of scale it will help you....
2> you can find car models online for free so use it
3> do the thing i told about road texture
4> get lots of refrence immages for tunnel and observe little details in them
5> add those details to your scene its the small things that make a finised work
6> use mental ray, vray or any renderer of your choice appart from default scanline render get some global illumation or final gather going on will give you some instant results with right settings
7>you lighting is very even brake it up
8>top coreners of the walls add some bevel/champhering on it same for where side walk meets the road
9> get better road texture and other textures as they are too lo res
10> go out take some hi res pics with a digital camera and work on it to make it usable as textures and project them

reduce the bump on the road just a little bit and there still weard highlight behind the dustbin get rid of that too more over seems ur getting there and the sign board on the left reduce the pole hight a bit more and make sure that rust on the bottom of the pole is still visible as its looking nice

u pulled up gud in scanline render reduce the bump on road a bit....the bump isnt matching
