Hey all,
After years of waiting finally i had been blessed with a tablet and that too with one that i find the best.. Intuos 9x12 model from wacom. Its simply amazing n its my babe now. I just love it.

Here are a few trials on my new tablet

this is a mutated kid of a mom exposed to radiation during pregnancy....hehe....

here are a few quick paintings i was doin of Hetfeild ...

hehe i was listening to whiskey in the jar by metallica while doin this one and thats why i gave those brownish orange tone to it.

will post more....my net connection is too slow.

@Sanpiya....hah nice caricature dude....very nice..... like the expressions ...nicely exaggerated ....BTW the album sucked though. their worst one i find.

absoulutely man.. real crappy stuff. just like ' the unnamed feeling ' ..the albm kinda made me drift away from metallica.. loved the old shit..
was doodlin in painter .. oil and blenders.. love the water rake..
then took it to photoshop.. and was doodlin some more..

good contribution Pratik ! first one is really nice..i think you can try to do more work on that..like textures and lighthing etc.

Sanpaiya, lovely stuff mate..nice mood in it..maybe u could add few more colours in the figure..or some more depth..right now it looks bit pasted with the bg elemnt...and that structure in the left side looks too close to the figure....maybe its just me..i know this is just a doodle..but it can be a good finished prouct

thanx shyam.. well.. donno bot makin it a finished piece.. kinda like the grunge look.. adds to the mood..
the f**kin net is too slow.. been waintin for past half hr for the photobucket to open.. aaaaaaaa... ok.. i have to go or else might break the comp.. will post it later

I did one too using textures. Kinda like a fairy tale scene... was sketching randomly and got this one in mind ....kids tryin to get into a castle on a cliff but have to get thru the sleeping guard dog ... ...a biiig one

Thanx Pratik..nice doodles u've posted..liked the mood and colours in the first one..how about adding some more uneven stones instead of stairs ?

seen this in the book.. the ground was more reddish..
and pratik love the mood in the first one, great colours.. and the way u have captured the skin tone.. and the light is real nice.. love the translucent .. feels very alive...

good going..first one is little difficult to understand in a first glance...maybe its just me..nice texture on the dog..which media in painter?

Hey i think u got a bit of Craig mulling stlye of painting....nice man....i think painter supports this style a lot... i think i will give painter a shot too....BTW what medium do u use usu.....which one is good?

hey guys. thanx for the comments.. well,, i mostly use the oil's . the wet oily blender brush,, but now been usin the dry bush and the dry bristle .. find em more comfortable,, more suitable for my style,,
pratik : Craig mulling ?? OMFG man.. hez too good.. been droolin over his work for a while now,. u should try painter. will take a while to get adjusted,, me still not that comfortable with it,,
Shyam: thanx man,, i take it as a compliment

that the first one took a while to figure out,, for the dog i used wet oily blender brush .. and worked on it on photoshop later.. to define it a little more.. and the added the textures..

herez a real old one.. rotring .2 pen.. with did the old man from a photo ref and the lantern from life or without ref ,i guess. dont exactly remember..
