Default Halvarado - Futuristic Cityscape

I am going through my photos and some Morguefile photos to find the right plate to use. But I have some old "blind" sketches and thumbs nails. Once I find the right photos I will incorporate them into it and begin the building of a future city.

Not sure about the sky yet - but here is a photo I took while in Dublin, Ireland. PLaying with light and sky colors.

I should not have stayed up so late...I will be tired when I get up in a few hours...but I was really into working. I have a long way to go I know but here it is at this moment.

::It is far enough into the future that most smaller rivers have dried out. As land began running out for building outwards structures were starting to be built below ground. Apartments and other dwelling were blended into the pipwork that already existed below ground level. Further into the future, when building below ground was not possible anymore due limited space, structures began growing higher and higher and bigger and bigger.....::

Hi Halvarado,

Interesting sky choices! My vote will go to the 2nd sky! Provides a lot more depth, as well as, it does not take the attention away from the city! Looking more photorealistic too!

Excellent. This is the feedback I was wanting. I love skies and unfortunately that means I think they are all beautiful....even if they don't belong sometimes. I actually went through about 15 skies and tossed out many because they didn't fit the lighting.

SSMAKX: Thanks as for fast....I didn't even realize the first night I worked for almost 8 hours straight - it was not till my husband who sits near the window in our office told me the sun was coming up that we went to sleep.

I can put on a good soundtrack or book on tape and work time doesn't exist. This week I am re-listening to Harry Potter book 6 - getting ready for the movie next week.

Thanks for the feedback !

Although the sky looks amazing, its kinda too busy for me. Its taking too much limelight... maybe you can make it darker or change it to lesser streaks. Another way is to use skys with huge cloud formations.

I hope you get what I mean... sorry

No I understand - it is something I am not done with yet. I like that one best but not in LOVE with it you know. I may just paint my own sky - have the clouds where I want them and the colors and grad they way I think they should be.

Thanks Eyecon

Looking really good! Be careful not to eat up all your negative space with buildings and do-dads, you want to leave room for the eye to rest comfortably in your picture.
