Samir Hoon (President- VFX, Prana Studios) has been in the visual effects industry since more than 20 years working on films like Twister (1996) as a digital effects artist, He has done various block busters at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), a division of. Lucasfilm Ltd. like the The Perfect Storm (2000) as a CG sequence supervisor, Eragon (2006) as a VFX supervisor, Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007) and many more. We caught up with Samir to get his views on the current Visual Effects scenario share his expertise with the prospective visual effects artists.
