Hi guys!
I'm new to this forum and this is my first post!
I've found this challenge follow eyecon's work from 3DTotal forum, and well .. I really like this new challenge!!
I've started from an old english church, added some 3d Vue enviroment and finally assembled to do a quick sketch.

Nice to see you here! The environment is looking really haunted and scary! Nice interpretation of the topic! I tried to make some critiques about your painting, but found it to be just too good, to be critiqued yet! Keep up the great work going! Will wait for your next chilling update!
Hi guys!
thanks for compliments!!!
This one, probably, is my final image.
I've added more "damage", light, raven and more fog.
I hope you enjoy and good luck to everyone !

I'm not quite sure, but I guess, the church, that you have placed beside the desolated house, does not seem to fit in the scene! It's actually taking my attention away from the house, which is looking really haunted! The light which you've added, also seems quite odd, since the house seems to be having no inhabitants, but a light means, someone is out there, which removes the haunting feeling. The contrast color of the church is also not helping the image much.
If you don't mind, can I post a quick sketch on your latest WIP image, to show you, what I think might help your matte-painting?

Hi kaustavsinha!
thank you for your comments.
The church and the "house" is the same thing, as you can see from the first image in this post, I found this photo of an old english church, I paint only the enviroment.
About the light, well, you think it's better without it?
See the attached no-light version.

Hi guitarsimo80,
Thanks for the reply! I think, it would look better without the light.
hi i like yr effort frnd.... but i have only one critic that the smoke in eviourment to dense..... u should low down the density of the fog so that it could see as a more detailed wrk...the details of yr railing and buildings and the foreground can be more visible....and one thing more that the forground fog near by yr camera should have less densityfrm the far backgroung fog...so that it creates a gud deph and distance
small update, still working.
I've fixed up the big tree on left, tried to reduce the fog density, add a candle light inside the church and add some small detail
Waiting for critics and comments !!!
Thank you guys!

I love this one. It's simple, moody, have some great details.
I would only darken it little, and you can do something with branches on foreground tree, some variations.
Oh yes, and it would be really great if you can put some old chariot in front of house, but this is just an idea
This is my winner!
