Jan 09 - The Lost World: About Challenge & Guldelines
January 09 topic - The Lost World
So here's what we want to see: A world untouched by man. You can base it on Earth or go with a completely alien landscape, we just want to see a prehistoric, raw, untainted world. Make it interesting! Your only limitations are that you cannot include any humans or any manmade objects (so, no cars, planes, buildings etc) in your image. Think out of the box,you could even have it underwater, or in space. Important announcement!
Hi Everyone,
Since the deadline for the January edition of the CGTantra Digital Matte Painting Challenges, The Lost World, is just couple of days away, I'd like to remind all the contestants, to kindly post their Finished Matte Paintings in the Submit your Final Entry - The Lost World thread. Your final image has to be, a minimum of 1300 x 700 px in size. The resolution must be 300 dpi. It is mandatory to post your Finished Matte Paintings in the above specified thread, to be considered for judgement by the panel of jury members! The last date for submission is 25th January, 2009. All final entries must be posted here, within 12 midnight (All times are GMT +5.5 ; please check the current time, located at the bottom of each page). After this time, the thread will be declared closed & no more entries will be entertained. On behalf of the CG Tantra Team, I wish all of you, good luck & all the very best!
