I have seen that and its really awesome.. the textures animation and the lighting everything was done awesome and in open source...

Blender is my favourite open source app...

Indeed. Open Movies are a great learning experience for everybody. With the ability to download all the production files and then study each and every scene, prop, rigs, textures is a big advantage.

I myself am downloading the production assets used on BBB from the following link and studying them.

I have been using it for 7 years now as a hobby and it has been an enriching one.
