Here is my demo reel showing mostly combat animations from my work on Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning, while working at Big Huge Games.
These are all right out of our combat move tree(s). I wanted to show a variety, so there's attacks, knockdowns, locomotions, and 3 "fate shift" kill animations. The fate shift kills are some of Reckoning's signature kill moves, and were a lot of fun to conceive and animate.
The weakest animations are my acting stuff, so I put those at the end. I wanted to show that I could do it, but they certainly aren't my specialty. I'm not applying to Pixar, that's for sure..
I'm hoping to land at another game studio working on an action-oriented game.
