Problem with modelling with Nurbs

I m facing a problem with the nurbs components. When i try to select control vertex or isoparm or hull, i can't select. They are showing but above or to the side of the surface but not on surface. when i try try to select isoparm doesn't red colour for moving on surface.
Please Help if any1 know how to tackle it. Attaching a Image also. Thank You.

Problem is there on all nurbs surfaces of my car. But when i create surface beside car surface from Create -> Nurbs Primitive --> cylinder, plane, etc. its normal and i can select isoparm from that nurbs primitive & place it normally. Please Help.....
