Hi,
thank you for this thread- FAQ's. my question is based on a graduation background-be it from any stream would one be able to make it into this sector. Have few international studios in India already and I see more coming in but based on my passion in Gaming what are the basic skill sets required for one to enter into a Game Studio and what is it that Game studios would gauge me on. |

@kittu18 - Generally requirement for Riggers is very low compared with other departments, I suggest also mastering Character Animation with it, you'll have a better job scope that way

Guys please help !!! I am a BE Graduate and want to do a game desiging course... m confused btw AIGA and ICAT bangalore please help me decide..which is the best institute among the two...(faculty & placement wise)
I am leaning towards ICAT please correct me if m wrong and if iam right, then should i choose ICAT Bangalore or Chennai... how is the MSc program in gaming offered by IACG hyderabad....?

Hello all,
I am new to the world of freelancing and would like to get some help from you guys here. I have recently made a few product renders in modeled in 3ds Max, textured and rendered using vray. The products resemble to cough syrup bottle, dettol handwash, face cream containers like tht of OLAY etc. I would like to know how much can i charge them? what are the rates of freelancing in the current market. Oh i forgot to mention the location. Mumbai, India. Please give me a rough idea of per render rates. Thanks and regards, Amol |

hi friends ....i want to do VFX course ....but i not able to find out any good Institutes in mumbai....i heard that FX School is good ....is it????...i m planing for joining FXSchool ....or any other institutes if u all want to recommend for me ...awaiting rly from all of u

@ Suraj - Internet is the best institute in the world for VFX :P, I recommend checking digital tutors, If you cannot afford Youtube has plenty of good and FREE tutorials
