What is it - Moving on with the motto of CGTantra - Learn, Inspire & Grow, CGTantra City Chapter creates a platform for people to meet up and share. A city head and team will be appointed which will keep planning meetups, show & tell talks, workshops and other activities. The meetups can be done at a coffee house for a general meet or at a college/institute if it requires hardware and projector etc. These meetups are planned in a way to avoid any costs which are there generally in a event like this to keep it free for all. The CGTantra City team can further make teams to build shorts films or finding talents in joining a film making projects or support any other local events or initiatives.

Who can be part of it - Everyone who is interested in learning, sharing, teaching or just making friends of the same interests. Students, professionals, photographers, film makers, freelancers, hobbyists or just looking forward to join Animation/VFX/Gaming industry.

I am a senior professional. How can I contribute by taking a class - You are most welcome to do that. Please write a mail to your city head or post in your city forums. Give some details about your skills, work experience and city team will be glad to organize a meet for you. If you are working in a different city and keep visiting your home town and if there is a lack of such activities compared to metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore etc., your contribution will surely be welcomed.
