Another round of cars, Murcielago this time. I did only one studio render this time and used keyshot for the session.

Super work with the Black one, your modeling and rendering is excellent. critics would be the shadow for the black car too soft in my opinion.

Here is the fixed version of Black, shadow is now more strong, nasty windshield thing is removed, car is now matching with BG grains and noise. I hope you like it now.

I like it, it looks photorealistic. However things can always be improved I think the headlight area lacks sharpness, I think you should have kept the mesh grille. BTW just a curious question, do you follow Jeff Patton's work.

You are right, one can always improve, and if you have noticed, I always sucks at headlights, Honestly, headlight seems to hard to me, I'm hardly getting this much closer. What I enjoy is lighting and compositing.
And I don't know who is Jeff patton, and I'm feeling like an Idiot while I'm watching his Gallery, He is an amazing artist and you just provided me another great inspiration source. But usually, when It comes to creating CG art, I generally don't try to replicate what other cg artists have done, so that I don't repeat the mistake they have done, and don't end up creating something similar to others. For cars, I love this guy's photography- http://notbland.deviantart.com/ , he is an amazing photographer works for magazines and car shows. His car photographs are like breathtaking, and they looks CG, I mean you can't believe one can take this kind of amazing photos. And there are few other photographers too, I used to get inspire from.

hi Axel, first up the notbland guy's gallery is simply stunning, I wonder how he does that. My photographer friends would kill to know his techniques. BTW I take a lot of inspiration from Jeff Patton's work, he is great artist but also he experiments a lot with lights. Like you I also like to create my own unique art but his tips and tricks are definitely something that you shouldn't miss. BTW I suggest you to follow this photography site if you don't already do http://forums.dieselstation.com/index.php?showforum=11 some really awesome work and you can even see their rigs.

Yes, and jeff Patton's shares his techniques and stuffs very kindly. I'm definitely learning a lot from him. And I'll look at this forum, thanks for the suggestions and help. Happy Lighting and Rendering to you too.
