you have decent modelling and texturing skills. you need to work a lil more on lighting.

please go through this post about what to do and more importantly what NOT to do in this post by me http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31810

specially pay attention to the part about your name in 3d text and about breakdowns.
