Mudbox Contest -Deepak Kumar Singh- Ganesa
Ganesa or Ganesh, also known as Ganapati, Vinayakak, and Pillaiyar (Tamil), is one of the deities best-known and most widely worshipped in the Hindu pantheon.
Parashuram Meets Lord Ganesh
According to Padma Purana, one day Parashuram, the favourite disciple of Lord Shiva came to see him at Mount Kailash. He was stopped at the door by Lord Ganesh.
“My father is sleeping. Come back later.” “I won’t wake him. I will pay my respects and leave quietly.”
Lord Ganesh, the caring son, was not going to let His father’s sleep get interrupted and refused to budge. Parashuram tried to push his way in, but failed. Soon the situation turned to blows. Their fight shook heaven. Meanwhile, the fight between the two valiant beings continued.
To stoped Parasuram means It was big think, because Parasuram was also a great warrior. And fighting with a warrior means you are a warrior.
Here I will try to draw lord Ganesh as a warrior in his young age, when he was fighting with Parasuram.
