Default animation output format after compositing

hi,

what will be the output format after compositing in after effects..i want to edit that in adobe priemere.pls suggest me the format..

Hi premod, to fulfill ur requirement . you need take out all ur renders in tiff / tga or png sequences, so that u don't lose on quality. Hope it helps.

I suggest you transcode the file to any lossy format and edit it in premiere. It would be easier for you to work with. Once you are done with the editing you can replace the file with the any high quality format that annkur mentioned. Also you can go with uncompressed quicktime.
If you have a high end computer, you can also directly import the AE composition into premire, render it in the timeline and start editing.

Yes, Other than Premire Pro you should take output from other programs such as renderings and composting as image sequences (tga\tiff). Because,

1. if between rendering something goes wrong, you will not lose everything.

2. images sequences are great to do color correction and composting.

3. you have more control on renderings. Suppose you need frame 1 to frame 25 and frame 60 to frame 84, you can easily take the rendering trough image sequences.
