It's an animation on weight shift with reference from another video. I am facing a problem of creating a smooth animation as you can see. Need some help on how to overcome the snappy and blocky animation. I did try to work on the graph editor a little, but somehow it didn't help much.
Hi,
Looks like you will need to spend some more time with the graph editor. If incase you aren't comfortable with it yet, check out these helpful links
one thing that stands out is... when he does his jumps, his feet are still flat...
when he does his slap, rest of the body is quite still... and the impact of the slap is not felt, which could be solved by moving the other hand back after d slap.
i believe this is a jason ryan animation tutorial right? u dont really need to work on the Graph editor if ur not comfortable. Jason Ryan never works in GE, he only poses out the character. Many animators use this workflow. Make ur poses stronger, and fix up the timing of the keys in the timeline, and set it to auto tangent (new feature in maya 2012, or else use a script). Good luck and keep working
