Allan McKay is an award winning Visual Effects Supervisor and Director, originating from the Gold Coast of Australia, now living in California in the United States for Hollywood studios including Warner Bro’s, Prime Focus Company – Frantic Films, Emmy award winning Digital Dimension and Oscar nominated Blur Studio, as well as George Lucas’ Emmy award winning company Industrial Light + Magic, amongst dozens of others all around the world.

Allan has personally been awarded and recognized as an Autodesk Master, receiving his Autodesk Masters award at SIGGRAPH conference in San Diego 2007, as well as working major film projects including The Last Airbender, Superman Returns, Day Breakers, Warhammer: Dawn of war, Super bowl XXXIX and hundreds of others, many of which have been nominated or won various awards including Oscar and Emmy awards.

2. Kamal Mistry



Since gaining valuable experience working on numerous films in various capacities at Pixar, Kamal has now taken up a senior role at Autodesk. Kamal's official title is Film Product Manager, and takes care of the needs of the high-end film studios with through Autodesk's film products such as Maya. Based in San Francisco, California, Kamal is heavily involved with the high end film studios spread worldwide to help drive innovation and excellence in Autodesk's media and entertainment products.


Prior to Autodesk and Pixar, Kamal spent some time at post-production houses in New Zealand as an animator creating 3D graphics for television commercials.He also worked in London, UK as an instructor and animator at Silicon Studio,a facility created to teach computer graphics. He has been involved in the computer graphics industry since 1993.
Beyond his interest in animation and computers, Kamal found inspiration for his career through Computer Graphics World magazine, which some how found its way to him in the African country of Zambia, where he lived as a child.

Born in a town called Valsad, in the Gujarat state of India, Kamal and his family moved when he was a toddler to Zambia in Africa. He grew up in Zambia,when at the age of sixteen Kamal and his family moved to New Zealand. Kamal earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science and fine arts from the University of Auckland in New Zealand

3. Dev Mannemela



Dev Mannemela is interested in the technology and the aesthetics of computer graphics. He has been pursuing his interests in the VFX arena for almost 15 years. After starting as a R&D programmer at Sony Imageworks and continuing on Microsoft | Softimage, Dev joined ESC in 2002 to work on the Matrix sequels. He joined ILM R&D in 2004 and is currently working as Lighting and FX TD at ILM. Some of his recent credits include "Iron Man 2", "The Last Airbender", "Transformer 2" and "Terminator 4".

Dev has a B.Tech (CS) from National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India and M.S (CS) from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.

4. Jesh Krishna Murthy




JESH KRISHNA MURTHY is one of India's leading VFX and Animation experts. Jesh began his career over 15 years ago in the field of Animation having studied Animation in Canada where he graduated topping his class. Since then he has been associated with some of the leading companies globally including Toybox (Now Technicolor), Spin, and the Oscar winning studio, Jim Henson's Creature shop.

In his long stint abroad Jesh has worked on numerous award winning features and commercial projects including Batman Begins, Tombraider, The Arrow, Existenz, Are we There Yet? etc.
Since his return to India 3 Years ago, Jesh founded Anibrain which in a short span of time has become India's leading VFX studio having delivered work on 30+ Hollywood features including Highlander, Resident Evil:Extinction, John Woo's The battle of the Re Cliffs and Ang Lee's Lust Caution which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film festival in 2007.

Jesh has also been a guest lecturer at the Vancouver Film School, LEAF (London Effects and Animation Festival), FMX, Stuttgart, Escape Studio's (London), Centennial College (London).

He has been awarded the Gemini Award for the Arrow and Animation Xpress award for Developing New Technology.

Saurabh Sameer [CGT ID - samzen]



He has been in this industry for more than 5 years when he started his journey in Maya Entertainment Ltd. working for CG and Visual effects projects for both television and films including those of Mangal Pandey Rising, Krishna Cottage, Jack Frost and several television series.

He later joined Veteran Vfx Supervisor Biju D ,and worked for project like the screen award wining Bhoothnath, 3 Idiots, Jhonny Gaddar, Parle Lemon TVC among others. Here as a lead he was involved in supervising the Vfx & Compositing sequences, pre shoot boards and on shoot vfx supervision.

Presently he's a part of a new setup - Earthlink Pictures.
