CGarchitect and RenderStream GPU Review

RenderStream recently assisted Jeff Mottle over at http://www.cgarchitect.com on one of the most comprehensive graphics card reviews geared specifically for the CG industry. Jeff reviewed the top graphics cards from NVIDIA and ATI and evaluated their performance in the top apps in our industry as well as how professional series cards stack up against consumer cards.

“Anyone who has worked in this industry for any length of time has at one point found themselves specifying a video card for their rendering workstation. The seemingly endless lineup of models and often cryptic specifications make selecting the best card a daunting task. Most rely upon product reviews from the gaming industry and/or whatever their budget will allow. Neither however provide the insight required to properly choose a card in the visualization field. The purpose of this review is to evaluate some of the latest cards in the industry in the context of viewport performance for architectural visualization professionals…”

You can read the full review here: http://www.cgarchitect.com/news/Reviews/Review076_1.asp

It should be noted that the tests focused on viewport performance. How well each card would perform in a GPU rendering application was not evaluated due to the early state of that technology. Once GPU rendering matures further we plan to do another review and include GPU rendering in the performance evaluations and well as evaluate the recently released GPUs

Looking ahead:

After attending this year’s SIGGRAPH event is Los Angeles, it is quite obvious that the next year is going to be very exciting for the CG industry. This is thanks in no small part to the advances we will see in GPU rendering and server side 3D applications that are driven by the GPU.

NVIDIA just announced their latest line of quadro GPUs that are up to 5X faster than the previous generation of FX cards.

“The newest NVIDIA® Quadro® professional solutions are true technological breakthroughs, delivering up to 5x faster performance across a broad range of design, animation and video applications. Built on the innovative NVIDIA Fermi architecture, the latest Quadro offerings are the first professional-class GPUs to integrate high performance computing capabilities with advanced visualization techniques. Featuring new Scalable Geometry Engine™ technology, Quadro can deliver an unheard of 1.3 billion triangles per second, shattering previous 3D graphics limitations. With Quadro solutions, your work flows — you can design, iterate and deliver higher quality projects in less time.” – http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-fermi-overview.html

The Specs for the new Quadro line are as follows:

Quadro 4000: 2 GB RAM, 256 CUDA Cores

Quadro 5000: 2.5 GB RAM, 352 CUDA Cores

Quadro 6000: 6 GB RAM, 448 CUDA Cores

These are all big memory cards but remember GPU accelerated renderers will need the memory to gain the most benefit. We look forward to getting our hands on these cards and bringing you some more useful perfromance data. Stay tuned!

Hello Tantriks!

Below are the side and front views of the normal walk cycle I have recently worked on. Im planning to practice a few more animations with this ball-guy type of rig before I move on to a full-fledged character. So please find the time to point out the errors and help me in my attempt to get better. I know it isn't great, just a normal walk cycle, but when you visit the thread dont leave w/o replying bcoz you think its not good enough or there is nothing to improve. I want to hear whatever it is that you have to say. Thank you!
Rig used: Lt. Dan (does anybody know if we are allowed to use this rig in our show reels as all the others resembling 'Ballie' have been banned by Animation Mentor?)

Nike Air Max LTD are fast becoming a hot fashion item in the us and Nike Air Max LTD bailey button canada,tory burch wallets, and for good reason. Nike Air Max LTD are wonderful australian footwear that is making their presence felt in the worldwide fashion footwear arena. Nike Air Max LTD are what are known by some as sheepskin Shoes. These Shoes have been made in australia for tens if not hundreds of years,nike air max shoes, and are well known all over australia. However now they are making an impact on foriegn markets. An air max 2009 is made from the skin of an australian merino sheep most commonly. ugg classic tall the wool part of the skin black classic cardy Nike Air Max LTD faces into the inside of the boot and so lies against the leg. This results in a warm soft feel to the boot that is found only from wearing Nike Air Max LTD. The ugg is unique in the level of comfort it offers to the wearer, and devotees of uggs will maintain tenaciously that uggs are the most comfortable boot on planet, unsurpassed by any other form of footwear. The air max 2009 has the soft pliable skin of the sheep facing out as it has the woollen part of the skin facing in. This results in a soft outer or exterior skin to the boot that means that uggs can be a little prone to damage and wear when used in wet weather or inclement, dirty or muddy conditions. The boot is not the most hard wearing of footwear,nike lebron training, and so wearers of Nike Air Max LTD learn quickly that they need to use some discretion when selecting which day to wear their uggs outdoors. The sheepsking is usually sewn onto a plastic sole, and so the boot is not entirely waterproof. Water can enter around the sole,tory burch flip flops,MBT shoes clearance will improve p tory burch flat, and although it is possible to buy ugg waterproofing it is not a total solution.

my entry for the cgsociety NVArt challenge : "accelerate"

A futuristic spy pod equipped with an ASD system ( Accelerated Stealth Drive ) the "Black Star" is capable of traveling at the speed of light and at the same time, 'hide' itself from radar; thanks to an advanced invisibility cloaking mechanism carefully built into it's shell.

in this scene, i did everything i possibly could, to depict speed & distance .. but most of all create mood, adventure & velocity.

software used : adobe photoshop CS3
techincal stuff :
> lots and lots and lots of layer adjustment tweaks .. really went crazy with it .. :O .. had to save 6 files separately in order to get the effect right .....

other things to be noted :

> layer blending modes .. "lighten" was used a lot to overlap the streaks/rays .... color dodge for glares ..
> lens flare filter ...
> insane use of masking :O :O :O
> grain ...

i thank my friends, vivu, dharati, dhiraj, deepak, sushrut, abhishek & anant for all their help .. you guys rock!!

Khronos Drives Rapid Evolution of Cross-Platform 3D Graphics with Release of OpenGL 4.1 Specification

New open API specification available immediately;
Wide-ranging enhancements with full backwards compatibility;
Enhanced integration with OpenCL for seamless visual computing;
Integrates OpenGL ES functionality for desktop and mobile platform portability

July 26, 2010 -Los Angeles, SIGGRAPH 2010 - The Khronos™ Group today announced the immediate release of the OpenGL® 4.1 specification, bringing the very latest graphics functionality to the most advanced and widely adopted cross-platform 2D and 3D graphics API (application programming interface). OpenGL 4.1 is the sixth update to OpenGL specification in two years, continuing the rapid evolution of this royalty-free specification. This new version continues to maintain full backwards compatibility to enable developers to begin using new features whenever they choose, while portably accessing state-of-the-art GPU functionality across diverse operating systems and platforms.

The OpenGL 4.1 specification has been defined by the OpenGL ARB (Architecture Review Board) working group at Khronos, and includes the GLSL 4.10 update to the OpenGL Shading language and is accompanied by a number of extensions introducing cutting-edge functionality to the OpenGL standard. The full specification is available for immediate download at http://www.opengl.org/registry.

New functionality in the core OpenGL 4.1 specification includes:
Full compatibility with OpenGL ES 2.0 APIs for easier porting between mobile and desktop platforms;
The ability to query and load a binary for shader program objects to save re-compilation time;
The capability to bind programs individually to programmable stages for programming flexibility;
64-bit floating-point component vertex shader inputs for higher geometric precision;
Multiple viewports for a rendering surface for increased rendering flexibility.
New ARB extensions introduced with OpenGL 4.1 include:
OpenGL sync objects linked to OpenCL event objects for enhanced OpenCL interoperability;
The ability to set stencil values in a fragment shader for enhanced rendering flexibility;
Features to improve robustness, for example when running WebGL applications;
Callback mechanisms to receive enhanced errors and warning messages.
Lastly, Khronos has simultaneously released a set of ARB extensions to enable as much OpenGL 4.1 core functionality as possible on previous generation GPU hardware; providing maximum flexibility and platform coverage for application developers.

"Khronos is methodically building their vision for pervasive developer access to cross-platform graphics, media and compute acceleration. The continued rapid-fire OpenGL evolution feeds high-end graphics innovation into that strategy," stated Dr. Jon Peddie founder and principal of Jon Peddie Research. "Just as significant as OpenGL 4.1's new 3D functionality are the ever closer links with OpenCL and OpenGL ES 2.0 - another significant step in strengthening the Khronos API ecosystem."

"The release of OpenGL 4.1 just five months after OpenGL 4.0 shows that collaborative innovation to build market opportunities for high-performance GPU acceleration is not slowing down. The ARB is also working hard to ensure backwards compatibility with each release so developers can absorb new functionality at their own pace," said Barthold Lichtenbelt, OpenGL ARB working group chair and senior manager Core OpenGL at NVIDIA. "I am also pleased to announce that NVIDIA will release OpenGL 4.1 production drivers on our developer site for all Fermi-based graphics accelerators, including the GeForce GTX 400 series, during SIGGRAPH. OpenGL 4.1 is not just a specification - it's here and now."

"AMD wishes to congratulate the ARB as it releases the OpenGL 4.1 Specification. AMD is committed to open standards and to OpenGL and plans to support OpenGL 4.1 in an upcoming driver release," said Ben Bar-Haim, corporate vice president, software at AMD. "The ability of the ARB to produce new and updated graphics standards at a regular cadence speaks volumes to their ongoing efforts to ensure healthy advances in the field of graphics, and AMD is proud to have contributed to this."

"Graphic Remedy is proud to be part of the Khronos OpenGL group, playing an important role in the definition of OpenGL's debugging and profiling features. We are excited about the release of OpenGL 4.1 and the new errors and warning mechanism," said Yaki Tebeka, CTO at Graphic Remedy. Graphic Remedy is committed to supporting the OpenGL developer community with gDEBugger GL, a professional OpenGL Debugger, Profiler and Memory analyzer; this solution helps companies and individuals make the most out of the OpenGL API, unleashing the rendering power exposed by current and future graphic hardware."

"We are very excited to see the release of OpenGL 4.1. New features, such as support for program binary loading and separate shader objects will be very valuable for TransGaming and other ISVs developing advanced graphics for games on OpenGL platforms," commented Gavriel State, Founder & CTO of TransGaming, Inc.

The Khronos Group is an industry consortium creating open standards to enable the authoring and acceleration of parallel computing, graphics and dynamic media on a wide variety of platforms and devices. Khronos standards include OpenGL®, OpenGL® ES, WebGL™, EGL™, OpenCL™, OpenMAX™, OpenVG™, OpenSL ES™, OpenKODE™ and COLLADA™. All Khronos members are able to contribute to the development of Khronos specifications, are empowered to vote at various stages before public deployment and are able to accelerate the delivery of their cutting-edge media platforms and applications through early access to specification drafts and conformance tests.
New NVIDIA Fermi-class Quadro Launches the Era of Computational Visualization

First GPUs to Combine ECC, Double Precision Floating Point and Massive Geometry Processing, Delivering Five Times Faster 3D Performance, Eight Times Faster Simulation Performance and Immersive Stereoscopic 3D

SIGRRAPH 2010, LOS ANGELES — July 27, 2010 — NVIDIA (Booth #717) today launched the era of the ‘computational visualization workstation’ for designers, engineers, researchers and animators by introducing its Quadro® graphics processing units (GPUs) based on NVIDIA® Fermi architecture, and by also introducing the new NVIDIA 3D Vision™ Pro solution. The new Quadro GPUs deliver performance that is up to five times faster for 3D applications and up to eight times faster for computational simulation1, shattering previous benchmarks.

The NVIDIA Quadro Plex 7000 array, and Quadro 6000, Quadro 5000 and Quadro 4000 GPUs feature the new NVIDIA® Scalable Geometry Engines and leverage NVIDIA Application Acceleration Engines (AXE) to enable the world’s fastest performance across a broad range of CAD, DCC and visualization applications2. Rated at an unheard of 1.3 billion triangles per second in raw performance3, the Quadro 6000 enables users to interactively work with models and scenes that are five times more complex than ever before.

“For over a decade Quadro has been the choice of professionals around the world. We’ve also built Engines like AXE to enable the creation of next-gen applications,” said Jeff Brown, general manager, Professional Solutions Group, NVIDIA. “When you couple these technologies with our Fermi architecture, the result is a new Quadro family that’s exponentially better than anything the market has ever seen.”

Redesigned from the Ground Up to Accelerate Entire Workflows

Combining high performance computing capabilities with advanced visualization, the new Quadro GPU is the world’s first professional graphics solution with Error Correction Codes (ECC) memory and fast, IEEE double precision floating point performance. These are intended for applications demanding the highest accuracy, such as medical imaging, finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics.

“In high-end visual effects development, fast iteration is essential," said Olivier Maury, research and development engineer, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). "By using NVIDIA Quadro GPUs, we are seeing up to eight iterations each day of complex fire, dust and air simulations, representing speed improvements of ten to fifteen times. NVIDIA CUDA and Quadro GPUs have entirely changed the way we solve complex visual effects challenges.”

The new Quadro GPUs are built on industry standards, including OpenGL 4.1, DirectX 11, DirectCompute and OpenCL. In addition, Quadro leverages technologies that are unique to NVIDIA – such as the company’s portfolio of Application Acceleration Engines (AXE) and NVIDIA CUDA™ parallel processing architecture. The result is that software developers are able to create and deliver the next-generation of professional applications that incorporate compute-intensive tasks. Among these tasks are ray tracing, physics simulation, computational fluid dynamics and real-time video effects processing.

“NVIDIA isn’t just working on building better graphics hardware, but the software tools needed to drive the needed advancements that are now changing the industry,” said Rob Enderle, principal analyst, Enderle Group. “NVIDIA was committed to building tool after tool this past decade in order to drive the market where they needed it to go, and their efforts are paying off.”

The new Quadro professional solutions introduced today include:

Autodesk Provides Free Training Modules for Mobile Game Creation; Announces New Certification Program for Softimage Instructors
SIGGRAPH 2010

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK) has released three new training modules as part of the Autodesk Animation Academy 2011 curriculum* for secondary schools. The modules provide students with tools and a curriculum to help develop the skills needed to create mobile game applications. Separately, Autodesk has also announced new instructor certification for Autodesk Softimage software, as well as a new cost-effective cross-certification program for trainers wanting to teach multiple Autodesk Digital Entertainment Creation (DEC) products.

“These new courses provide students with the building blocks for creating their own game, a valuable knowledge base that will help prepare them for future real-world job opportunities and further studies in the game development field.”

New Autodesk Animation Academy Training Modules

The three new Animation Academy modules provide students with an easy learning path to help master 3D tools for interactive content creation. The modules are designed to be used with Academy Award–winning Autodesk Maya software, and focus on storytelling and game creation using both Unity3D game engine and Maya Cloth and Fur. The modules add 180 hours of free training material to the Animation Academy program, which now comprises four full semesters of coursework.

* Environmental Storytelling — Students learn to model an environment inspired by an historical event. A character model is included along with an overview of the pipeline for mobile game production.
* Game Creation — Students learn how to create a game with the assets created in the Environmental Storytelling module. They can export their level and props directly into the Unity3D game engine.
* Ricky 2.0 Superhero — Pre-existing modules in the series enable students to hone their animation skills based around a unique character named “Ricky the Rat.” In this newest character module, students learn how to use Maya Cloth and Fur.

This new material extends Autodesk’s latest postsecondary games curriculum, which was released in March 2010. All curricula created for the Autodesk Animation Academy are now available on the online Autodesk Education Community, where students and educators can also download free** copies of Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Softimage, Autodesk MotionBuilder, Autodesk Mudbox and Autodesk SketchBook Pro software.

Carl Callewaert, Lead 3D Instructor at The Gaming and Animation Institute of Fredericton and Director of Animation at Measurand, a motion capture company, worked with Autodesk to co-develop the new game creation modules.

“I have been teaching Autodesk technology for over 10 years, and I was eager to extend my experience teaching college-level game design to high school students,” said Callewaert. “These new courses provide students with the building blocks for creating their own game, a valuable knowledge base that will help prepare them for future real-world job opportunities and further studies in the game development field.”

Callewaert adds: “Autodesk has done a great job in making this curriculum and their tools accessible to high school students. Any student can download a free copy of Maya software and begin to create games immediately — it’s that easy.”

For more information about Autodesk Animation Academy and the new 2011 curriculum modules, please visit Autodesk at booth #500 during the SIGGRAPH Conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center, or download the new modules online.

New Autodesk Certified Instructor Programs

The Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) program — offering coaching, mentoring and accreditation services for instructors teaching Autodesk software — is now available to instructors of Autodesk Softimage software. Qualified program candidates will receive an ACI Workbook along with access to downloadable training guides and online courses to help prepare for three online certification tests. After the exams are completed, candidates are required to attend and pass a three-day observational assessment seminar to qualify as an ACI.

A new, cost-effective cross-certification program helps trainers certified in 3ds Max, Maya, Autodesk Flame, Autodesk Lustre or Autodesk Smoke software apply for certification on other Autodesk DEC products by passing the application-specific certification exams, all without having to participate in another training workshop.

For more information about Autodesk training opportunities, visit www.autodesk.com/ACI.

Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites Premium Launched at SIGGRAPH

New Suites Include Softimage for a Full Set of Advanced 3D Tools at Over 40 Percent Cost Savings†*
SIGGRAPH 2010

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK) introduced Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites Premium, offering a powerful set of tools for 3D modeling, digital sculpting, texture painting, animation, effects, rendering and compositing. The Premium Suites provide integration across applications for enhanced interoperability and efficiency, enabling artists to explore creative ideas with advanced modeling and animation technology.

“They now have easier access to tools for real-time animation design, virtual cinematography and interactive previsualization, and can more easily create highly detailed 3D models. Our goal is to help CG artists break through creative barriers by giving them the tools they need at their fingertips.”

With the new Suites, studios can create modern, flexible pipelines to help support today’s projects and scale for tomorrow’s opportunities. With over 40 percent cost savings, †* the Premium Suite includes:

* A choice of either Autodesk Maya or Autodesk 3ds Max software, award-winning 3D modeling, animation, rendering, and compositing tools; plus
* Autodesk Softimage software, featuring the Interactive Creative Environment (ICE) to help in the creation of more sophisticated effects that can be integrated into Maya and 3ds Max through new ICE interoperability technology, as well as Autodesk Face Robot technology to help in the creation of higher-quality facial animation
* Autodesk Mudbox 3D digital sculpting and texture painting software to help in the creation of more detailed digital models
* Autodesk MotionBuilder software, offering a real-time, interactive 3D engine and advanced character animation tools for increased animation output
* Turtle, a sophisticated global illumination rendering and baking plug-in for Maya, designed for higher-quality, next-generation game development**
* Lagoa Multiphysics – A new multi-physics simulation framework for Softimage ICE developed by Thiago Costa for creating effects such as plastics, liquids, gases, soft bodies, cloth, and foam.

“We created the Premium Suites to give artists the tools and freedom they need to tackle complex creative projects with greater ease and efficiency, enabling them to build more sophisticated CG production pipelines at a much lower cost than was previously possible,” explained Stig Gruman, Autodesk vice president, digital entertainment. “They now have easier access to tools for real-time animation design, virtual cinematography and interactive previsualization, and can more easily create highly detailed 3D models. Our goal is to help CG artists break through creative barriers by giving them the tools they need at their fingertips.”

Khronos Drives Rapid Evolution of Cross-Platform 3D Graphics with Release of OpenGL 4.1 Specification

New open API specification available immediately;
Wide-ranging enhancements with full backwards compatibility;
Enhanced integration with OpenCL for seamless visual computing;
Integrates OpenGL ES functionality for desktop and mobile platform portability

July 26, 2010 –Los Angeles, SIGGRAPH 2010 – The Khronos™ Group today announced the immediate release of the OpenGL® 4.1 specification, bringing the very latest graphics functionality to the most advanced and widely adopted cross-platform 2D and 3D graphics API (application programming interface).

- Full compatibility with OpenGL ES 2.0 APIs for easier porting between mobile and desktop platforms;
- The ability to query and load a binary for shader program objects to save re-compilation time;
- The capability to bind programs individually to programmable stages for programming flexibility;
- 64-bit floating-point component vertex shader inputs for higher geometric precision;
- Multiple viewports for a rendering surface for increased rendering flexibility.

New ARB extensions introduced with OpenGL 4.1 include:
- OpenGL sync objects linked to OpenCL event objects for enhanced OpenCL interoperability;
- The ability to set stencil values in a fragment shader for enhanced rendering flexibility;
- Features to improve robustness, for example when running WebGL applications;
- Callback mechanisms to receive enhanced errors and warning messages.

Lastly, Khronos has simultaneously released a set of ARB extensions to enable as much OpenGL 4.1 core functionality as possible on previous generation GPU hardware; providing maximum flexibility and platform coverage for application developers.

“Khronos is methodically building their vision for pervasive developer access to cross-platform graphics, media and compute acceleration. The continued rapid-fire OpenGL evolution feeds high-end graphics innovation into that strategy,” stated Dr. Jon Peddie founder and principal of Jon Peddie Research. “Just as significant as OpenGL 4.1’s new 3D functionality are the ever closer links with OpenCL and OpenGL ES 2.0 – another significant step in strengthening the Khronos API ecosystem.”

“The release of OpenGL 4.1 just five months after OpenGL 4.0 shows that collaborative innovation to build market opportunities for high-performance GPU acceleration is not slowing down. The ARB is also working hard to ensure backwards compatibility with each release so developers can absorb new functionality at their own pace,” said Barthold Lichtenbelt, OpenGL ARB working group chair and senior manager Core OpenGL at NVIDIA. “I am also pleased to announce that NVIDIA will release OpenGL 4.1 production drivers on our developer site for all Fermi-based graphics accelerators, including the GeForce GTX 400 series, during SIGGRAPH. OpenGL 4.1 is not just a specification – it’s here and now.”

“AMD wishes to congratulate the ARB as it releases the OpenGL 4.1 Specification. AMD is committed to open standards and to OpenGL and plans to support OpenGL 4.1 in an upcoming driver release,” said Ben Bar-Haim, corporate vice president, software at AMD. “The ability of the ARB to produce new and updated graphics standards at a regular cadence speaks volumes to their ongoing efforts to ensure healthy advances in the field of graphics, and AMD is proud to have contributed to this.”

“Graphic Remedy is proud to be part of the Khronos OpenGL group, playing an important role in the definition of OpenGL’s debugging and profiling features. We are excited about the release of OpenGL 4.1 and the new errors and warning mechanism,” said Yaki Tebeka, CTO at Graphic Remedy. Graphic Remedy is committed to supporting the OpenGL developer community with gDEBugger GL, a professional OpenGL Debugger, Profiler and Memory analyzer; this solution helps companies and individuals make the most out of the OpenGL API, unleashing the rendering power exposed by current and future graphic hardware.”

“We are very excited to see the release of OpenGL 4.1. New features, such as support for program binary loading and separate shader objects will be very valuable for TransGaming and other ISVs developing advanced graphics for games on OpenGL platforms,” commented Gavriel State, Founder & CTO of TransGaming, Inc.

DQE Jungle Book reaches the 'Land of Smiles'

DQE, the animation, gaming, live action entertainment production and distribution company, is pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive broadcast agreement with Thailand based Thai Public Broadcasting Service (TPBS) for the animated 52X11’ 3D TV series titled “The Jungle Book”.

TPBS is a public broadcasting service in Thailand and is the country’s first public TV station. It commenced broadcasting in 2008, and focuses mainly on children’s programmes, news and documentaries during prime time hours.

Under the terms of this agreement , TBPS has exclusive free television rights to broadcast the 52 episodes of this animated series of The Jungle Book in both Thai and in English in Thailand for a period of three years. The Jungle Book has already been sold in160 countries around the world for broadcasting as well as licensing and distribution and several other strategic deals are currently under negotiation worldwide and are expected to be signed soon.

Tapaas Chakravarti, Chairman and CEO of DQE said:
“It’s fantastic to have Thai Public Broadcasting Service on board for an iconic property such as The Jungle Book. We are sure that Jungle Book will be hugely popular globally and especially in Thailand once the series starts broadcasting in early 2011. Thailand’s love for elephants and animals is legendary and Jungle Book is very close to this philosophy. 3D high definition Jungle Book in its new high quality visuals and story telling avatar will win the hearts of kids and parents alike in Thailand, “The Land Of Smiles”.

Our partnership with TPBS with The Jungle Book has started brilliantly and we hope to continue it on other properties in times to come”

Jaranya Kengtawikarn (Joy), Manager of Foreign Programme Acquisition Department, Thai Public Broadcasting Service said:
“The legendary tale of Mowgli is an all time hit with all Thais and now The Jungle Book is coming back with a new touch, magical tale and new excitement in 3D animation. Kids will learn and be enlightened through the story that is full of knowledge and adventure.

However, this isn’t just an ordinary entertained animation, but is an exchanging of thoughts, experiences, and new ideas in a field of children’s animation. It’s a privilege to gather this valuable source as a public broadcaster that plays a major role in society as media which promotes goodness to our audiences. All in all, The Jungle Book is the master piece of high international quality animation from India, our neighbour from south Asia.”

Description of The Jungle Book:
The series tell stories of the man-cub ‘Mowgli’ raised in the Indian jungles by a pack of wolves. Drama, excitement and adventure mixed with a high element of comedy tell tales of how Mowgli lives and survives in the jungle, where his only companions are animals. His adventures reflect his daredevil, fearless, high-spirited and fun-loving escapades. He is helped by Baloo the wise bear, his best friend Bagheera the black panther and (sometimes!) mighty Kaa, the rock python. Mowgli learns to overcome adversity and make progress in his life by using his quick wit and natural curiosity, with his constantly optimistic outlook on life. This is very challenging for the little man-cub with an evil enemy like Shere Khan, the royal Bengal tiger on the prowl.

Mowgli’s adventures open out in the lush magnificent tropical forest of Seeonee amidst splendid Indian royal forts, temples, waterfalls and the Waingunga river. Throughout the series many species of animal characters from the Kipling stories add flavour to the drama, comedy and action, bringing out excellent animation and quality storytelling.
