Hi
well games is a very big industry and it all goes what u like doing most
- you like mobile and internet games or 3d console games?
- you wanna work with 2d grapphics making concepts of characters env etc
- if on 3d side what do you like doing the most modelling which divides further into characters, sets n props, enviornment, vehicles etc depending on studio size or lighting, rigging, rendering, texturing etc
i would suggest to concerntrate on one skill and one soft as soft aint important you could easily switch to other 3d softs as they are almost same same goes for photoshop or painter
their are other aspectes of gaming industry like sound and programing depends what u enjoy if you have questions i would be glad to point you in right direction
regards
sajeel

Ok so you like modelling now what u have to consider is to you want to model enviornments/archvis? cause if you master that you could work for either games movies or archvis or do you like modelling cars and objects that would fall under props modelling and last but not least character modellig best of luck and concerntrate on one soft know it in and out and same with modelling get ur mastery collect loads of refrence material before u even start working on it trust me it helps
Remember soft is not important art is if you are good enough for a company they will teach you the software they use
