hi folks,

i am planning to make a career in animation...but i am undecided as to from where i should take my training...i had been to graphiti, MAAC and there is this school in dadar known as Pansoft School of Animation. Please all the people out there if you can lend me ur valuable guidance.

if u wanna do an overall course.. touching all the basics.. the MAAC is good. But i would suggest a dedicated institute, like graphiti or whistlewood. SAE is also good. SAE.edu check it out.

try some good institutes with some good faculties...and its not necessary to join an institute paying lots of money....some good experienced people teach these course privatly in their free time...just try to find a right faculty...hey and please ask about the institute and teaching from some of the students of those institute..

Graphiti i will choose reason - 1. their syllabus is quit better than any-other institute and 2. they have a studio and its on recruiting drive, but
if u go for MAAC, go to andheri - other branchs faculty is not as good as andheri's.........

Hi davidnltt,
Its good u want to make your career in animation but just dont rely on the the institute. Institutes just teach u the basic tools, its u who has to work hard and find out different ways to study for yourself. Try to be a self thought artist. Check out some ppl from industary who teach students in their free time privately as illusion4u said.
