can anyone tell me how to work out both FK & IK without blending the two

in Maya way,
1. if u wnt 2 do FK\IK in a jerk(i.e without blend) then use boolean or integer instead of float attr in add attr window.
2. if u want fk/ik work simul. then read the divine spine tut over the net.
