Welcome to CG Tantra.
Your character is coming very nicely. You made it by proper concept I think this is the one character which is closest to the given concept.
But as admin said we can make some minor changes in the character but basic concept will be not changed.
So I think you need not to make inside mouth because you reach 442 tries above to given limit.
Keep the limits in mind dude and reduce the tries from some unwanted places.

great job, very nice silhoutte and flow, U can easily cut out on the poly on the tube connecting the guns, a loop less around the elbow and knee and she should still be able to animate well :), making the tube tri sides should save a lot for you too.

Hi all
i have some doubts
1. i hav created the hair as separate ,is that ok or must it be a single mesh?
2. do it need inner mouth & eye ball ? if yes ,could the teeth be separate ?
3. only diffuce map ? no specular /bump maps?
( sorry i dddnt know any thing abt modeling for games )
also plz tell me what is a "normal map"?
plz replay soon , i m excited...

Hi dude
As you asked the doubts I think you have not much technical knowledge of game modeling.
Ok no problem we are here for LEARN INSPIRE GROW ;)
1. There is no problem to make the hairs in separate mesh.
2. you need not to make all inner mouth and there parts. you can make the lips morphable. And there is no need to make the teeth (as I think)
3. This time admin can allow to use diffuse map. may be in next challenge we can use all the maps which are use in next generation games.
4. Normal map is a technique to use highpoly details on your lowpoly model.
There are many tutorials on net reg. normal mapping.

Hey aneesh..
Basically when making game characters we do hav seperate meshs for eyeballs, tongues, pouches etc.. but all of them should be capped and be combined to a single mesh.. the reason is that most engines dont support open ended meshes with a few execeptions of Unreal Engine, Cry engine etc.. Modeling the teeth (jus a box maybe) and tongue will really add to the character..
Normal map as Digital3d said is technique to fakes the highpoly details of a model on to a low poly model. This workflow is used in large no games nowdays being made for PC, xbox360 and the PS3. better than explaining it myself.. I will link you to the mother of all tuts for normal maps :P .. hope it helps

again depends on the engine.. I hav seen a few characters in games that hav their eyeballs, teeths not capped coz they are intersecting with the mesh and the game engine reads the whole thing as one entity or character. Object like these wht I mentioned in my previous post too are refered as floating mesh coz though they are part of the mesh they are not actually made from one mesh. For

Yes aneeshmode you can use 2 maps for it. As Wasim bhai used in his model

hi ashwani thanks..
then abt ur problem..its easy, first upload ur images in any of free image upload sites like imageshake.com then u will get a image link from there .
paste it on "insert image " option below the "attach" option . and thats it..
nb: it will be easy if ur images are of low res. ( i usually use images only upto 150 kb )

hi friends, i really need your help now, as u can see above i hav a problem with texture in the render image . I dont know why the texture is being strethed on the renderd image ( like ribcage, breast areas), while it is ok in the print screen and uw editor
...plz help me ..
