Visual Effects career guidance

Hey Guys, i'm in MAAC and and i would like to know that is learning just Combustion and After effects enough to get a good job as a VFX artist? If not then which other software do i learn and how? Cause learning individual softwares in MAAC is extremel expensive. Thanks in Advance.

Even i have same question in my mind when i enter this field as even my key interst is in VFX, when i talk to some student and maac faculties they told me it depends on your work, if your work is good in Combution & AE studio can traine you other software like FCP, fusion etc.

I guess your course is PD3D even mine also.
