hi...iv learnt modelln in maya n was wrkn as a charctr modeller fr a few mnths...bt its been a yr since i resignd that job...nw i wld like make a fresh start in modelling...pls advice as to wch softwr will be good for learning modelln..or shd i go ahead wth maya....im vry mch intrestd in charctr modelln..pls help...

hi Deep,
there is a workshop on modelling organised by Cg tantra why don't you register for that.
I have heard that the rigging workshop was awesome and very informative.

maya is d best software u can Handel with smooth work..4 modeling . as in i m working in studio. many studios using only maya for modeling & for sculpting they used zbrush sumtime. even in all famous studio! so do not take any tense abut software just improve u r modeling style n detail .. thr is 1 workshop on modeling in our school . in graphiti school of art on 4th jan .so u can ask any queries if u have ! i m working in graphiti studio..!:D do best.:)

u r com ram hav to 1 GB minimum n graphic card 256 mb thts it. maya 8 having new option 4 modeling its good. :) do best
