Its good that you have decided what you wanna specialize in.
you can go for this package Modeling & Texturing
or if you want to concentrate on Animation then you should also learn Rigging.
But keep this in mind be a specialist in either one of them.Becoz you cant do/learn everything. But having a basic knowledge about everything and a specialist in one thing will be good for your future.
I dont know about any institutes in Mumbai i am from MAAC delhi. But one thing is sure that they will only teach you the basics rest you have to do on your own.Your biggest teacher is you especially in this field.:)

Thanks gautam & avijeet.
I have done the basics an animation training institute (let me not mention the name) but frankly i am not happy with their training, so now i was planning to do some specialisation courses. that's why wanted some guidance.

well i difinately understand the best teacher in animation is Self Practice.

thanks for the advice

simple answer>>>> Going for specialization is good but remember one thing... specialization means getting expert in it...

example....

Modeling: you should be able to model ultimate work like the one seen over zbrush central
Animation: very realistic character animation which requires lots of work...
Lighting, texturing: You should be able to light a scene where everybody should say its a photograph
Fx: It should be breath taking.....like the one observed in Hollywood movies....

If thats the case then go for the specialization or else theres no use going to such institutes...
