hi i just saw on shanti om n just want to know how have they composited deepika with jitendra, sunil dutt..... with their old clips....can any one tell me as i found it kool... m modeler so dont have any clue how they would have done that...

hey nivya
try exploring some compositing software such as combustion/after effects.. there are many others still u can try n get results out of these software.
i haven't seen the movie yet :( ; still i guess this is what u wanted to knw.

tnx for the suggestion yaar....i have worked with combustion b4 but not in such a detail..i will try it but m just confused how she is revolving around sunil dutt n rajash khanna in a clip......if any body could tell me that then it would have been a gr8 knowledge for me:)

its just basic roto, but its done with proper footages from past which will look
and feel as if both are quiet close,

Yes its basic roto n deepika was shot on a chroma with help of online chroma removal system here they can match the original camera with deepika’s camera and then sunil dutt and other (old footage) were retimed according to the timing of deepika (new footage)
