I've been thinking awhile about refining what I've learnt by going abroad to an college and doing my masters. The college I've chosen is Bournemouth University. But I had a question that's been bothering me - is it preferable to go outside the country and learn another approach at something or to jump straight into a studio and work?
Opinions?

what dept are you talking about?
2d? animation? texturing and modeling?
I say it depends on your level. I am doing (and about to finish) animation mentor, because I wanted to be the best I can be with animation. i was not worried about getting a job, and i wanted my education (formal education that is) to be done with before I get into the job.
good luck anyways.

My sentiments exactly, jnaneswar. I too feel that my educational life should be complete before running into a job, because I know that once I start, there's no turning back and my academic life will be left as is. The course I'm planning to attend there is the MA in 3D Animation. :)

^^That ture once u styart working u will don't time to study.
U will get time but in end u will stress out with both thing.
If theres a will there is a way, is the proverb i remeber for the effort taken by a person called ANDY maxman, who had studied even after some experience & he has taken time out of his personal life, professional life & graduated toooooooo.
