I finally got around to learning Blender's fluid simulator.

The screenshots below show (you can click them to see videos)

The setup with a moving obstacle and a render with ambient occlusion for a milky appearance. :)
A SSS render and glow added inside blender's video sequence editor. (i added *too much* glow, i know!!!)
A screendump of the simulation with a moving source.

I used a low resolution to domain since its just a test and the impact factor on the moving obstacle is low, so you can see the fluid sticking to the top of the cube.

I am working on a document that has some details and references. You can check it below

Very good satish ... keep it up. I'm really impresed with blender...trying to learn this software beside my Job schedule...I also like the line from your signature...
"It's a poor workman who blames his tools". With blender I think these poor men will not get that chance for excuse. Blender is open source...so they can fix it if they can :).

If possible can you post some web links on rigging releated tutorials on Blender. It will be helpful for beginners like me.

Hello Susanta.

Thanks dude. Its fun to play with Blender and finding workarounds.

I will surely add links on rigging to the sticky threads in the Blender forum on tantra. Watch out.

Hey thanks for this awesome manual.. I am a FOSS enthusiast and am
using Blender on Ubuntu Feisty.. Would love to get some pointers for
Rigging and animation tutorials too.. Although, I am not done going
through the tutorials already at hand.. just doing that.. But if you
are a regular poster on workings on Blender, please post the link to
your posts here..
Thanks and regards.

Hello dropdeadfriend (he he, that sounded funny)

Yeah man!! The link is an awesome resource. I found if after I did my own R&D of the simulator. In case you do not know, this simulator was added by a graduate student (http://www10.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/%7Esinithue/turbfsflows/) as part of Google summer of code projects. Kudos to him.

NOTE:
I have added more videos to the first post of this thread.
