"Maya Entertainment Ltd." - MEL, mumbai. i joined MEL last month and still m learning a lots there..... its been a wonderful pathway for me from my institute "MAAC" to studio "MEL" and u can see my pathway in my reel.....

hey man.awesome reel:clap: .its too cool.i m in the process of making my reel.i have problem with using constraints for picking or lifting objects.the problem is when i use constraint my hand control always comes to its default position from where i have constrained it and when i scrub through.my whole animation goes bad even before the point where i have constrained it. i use parent constraint.can u explain to me in detail how to use parent constraint.

my way to use parent constraint is

first group object.

create locator.

locator + group -->parent constraint.

same locator + hand control --> parent constraint

same locator + other hand control --> parent constraint

and the change the Weight of constraint hand accordingly

still my hands snap back to the position of where i have constrained them.

can u help me out if u can. waiting for ur reply buddy.

thanx

take care

Hi,

I had a quick look through your reel. Good effort put in it.

One main thing you should work in future and try improving is the weight and timing. Practise weight shifting more. thats one of the main areas you need to improve. You don't need to put in more clips. just one or two to start with and they must be rock solid stuff.

Keep animating.

hai hi mra and anil for watchin ma reel.....

hai mra.... sorry for the delay to reply u... due to lack of time... by the way hai i think u can try this .. when u do constraint i.e. parent const , the method u written is all correct just u need to click on the " maintain offset" u can find this option in the parent constraint option box..... i think it can help.... but i need to see once ... but u try this and tell..ok and thanx bro

hai anil.... thanx for watchin me reel.... and ya thers lots thing still to learn in my world of animation , and u are rite m lacking behind weight shifting and all... even some of my frens told me... still, hope i can improve them tooo cause ... these days m learning a lots and really lots.... and whenever got frre time i do some practice and just practice...heheh newaz
