Creating fur using the new fur rendering system in Blender 2.46

The above two links are an excellent start to learning about creating fur using masking textures to control length, density, clump, rough and more parameters.
Using the techniques of multiple UV-sets, once can quickly generate fur without any manual grooming using the interactive hair editing system.

I just finished watching all the tutorials from Geneome.net. Awesome video tuts man. I'd recommend that too any Blender user.
