Hi Friends
I want to highlight one Issue, based on Infromation and knowledge I have. Please pardon my English but this can't stop me from sharing my thoughts. I think we all aware of uncertaininity has come in ruling goverment. I am trying to pen down all in very simple word so that we can understand these serious issues.
NPT - Non proliferation Treaty
This is an International treaty which is working since 1968 to limit the spread of Nuclear weapons. 189 countries has signed this treaty except 4 country. These four are India , Pakistan, Isreal and North Korea.
NWS - Nuclear weapon state or Nuclear weapon country.
Their is total 8 country who have the Nuclear weapons. These are U.S, Russia, U.K, France, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Isreal also. ( Not openly declared).
NPT has mainly 3 obligations. which are.
1. Not spreading or assisting Nuclear weapons to NNWS ( Non Nuclear weapon states.)
2. Disarmament of Nuclear weapons.
3. Peaceful use of Nuclear Energy.
These obligation or NPT is signed by U.S, Russia, U.K, China and France. which are Nuclear weapon country but not by India, Pakistan and Isreal ( These 3 are also Nuclear weapon country.)
Because of the Border dispute with Pakistan & China , and war with both the countries, India can not signed the NPT for the Security Reasons. Because the second article which is Disarmament of Nuclear weapons doesn't allow India to Sign the treaty. Another reason is India need Nuclear enegy for billon people country.
But India is one of the Few countries Who have the Policy of ' NOT FIRST USE' which means First India will not use the Nuclear weapons against any country.
Since India has shown great responciblity as Nuclear weapon country even without singning the NPT. India peacefully using nuclear power for energy to meet the growing demand of Energy.
On the other hand we Indian 1/6 part of world papulation. So as billion people country we have lot to contribute as global part. As we all aware of Global warming. India and China have very big role to play to combat this Global warming. We Indian are one of the reason behind global pollution.
So coming back to the point India desprately need the Nuclear Energy to run this country without increasing world pollution so Global Warming. And its not only our concern but whole world's.
On the other hand Pakistan has sold Nuclear tecnology to North Korea and Iran just to spread terrorism. And Pakistan record is been very irr-responcible.
After seeing India's responcible stand as nuclear power. U.S come up with one policy in which 14 out of 22 Nuclear Power Reactors of India will under Inspection. Which will be under Inspection of International Bodies (IAEA). But in remaining 8 Nuclear Reactors India can do Nuclear Excercises without disclosing anything. In exchange of this U.S will share Nuclear material and technology with India even after India haven't signed the NPT.
The another aspect is India have very less resources of Uranium. And Uranium is prerequisite for any Nuclear Energy Production and for R&D . So if India signed this policy with U.S India can get Uranium from U.S and Australia ( If I am not wrong Australia has largest Uranium resources).
China never would like to see another giant in Asian Region that why China has his own reason to pressure U.S either don't sign this policy with India or give same status to Pakistan aswell.
In India UPA is Ruling party in the centre with the help of Left parties. But these left parties don't want Congress to sign this policy with U.S, because of cheap political Motive which you can figure out yourself (Follow the link down for more info.) . And left party is supporting by opposition party which is BJP, who again have their political motive. I am nowhere favouring any party. Nowhere.
But these are the same parties which opposed in 1991 the liberlisation of Indian Economy. In 1991 one these marxist parties ( Like left party) said long ago one company from Britain come to India and they Ruled for 300 years. So if many foriegn company will come here then what will happen to India. But only beacuse of that liberlisation India have more Job opportunities , self dependency, rapid growth, more stable Economy. The whole world is acknowledging that Big giant is awakening up. Now we are future power. And those party are now shameful for the stand they took against liberlisation in 1991. Left simply opposing this deal beacuse U.S is involved, so that they can attract more votes.
Whatever I have wrote up there is according to my best knowledge and Information, on which I don't want to debate. I have to learn something.

You may ask me what can we do. Coming to the Individual role we can play.This thing can be read and understand only by those who are literate and have the acceccibilty of Internet. So we are the suppose to be literate. But the biggest irony is those who understand matter don't cast their Vote. Those who cast their votes are mainly from villages and weaker Economical class. Who sadly can't understand the big issues and can easily be lure. And its shame on all of us after knowing that mostly politician who rule on us not even 8th pass. And most of us are Graduate or would'b graduate..And Now only because of these politicians India's Credibility is on stake. The whole world is looking up to us to play a pivot role in Nuclear issues. Its very unfortunate as which mass understand these Issue, don't cast their Votes. I want to share one thing with you all. couple days back we were watching movie RDB on 15th August. My one friend left the movie inbetween by giving excuse that I've seen this movie 2 times. What the hell??? Do we see these movie just to Entertain ourself. Why just we feel the gravity of patriotism only on Independence day or while watching these movies. Why don't we always carry anything with us.
I agree we can't go on the front and can't fight but yes as a Citizen we can contribute a lot. Atleast can choose the best leader from the least available options. We always says If I'd have been a leader .....I would have done this, that etc... etc. But how we will act as an good leader when even we can't be a Good citizen. Very Precisely....
