<P>learning maya and highend 3d are good sites but none of them basically teach you good animation techniques. They are more like rigging and modeling cum lighting websites, I'd say you should check out <A href="http://www.keithlango.cwm" target="_blank">www.keithlango.cwm</A> and <A href="http://www.hash.com/users/ed/tutorials/animtut.htm" target="_blank">http://www.hash.com/users/ed/tutorials/animtut.htm</A> ....the latter one is not maya specific but once you learn the principles of animation..you can apply it on any s/w. In the end.."animation survival kit" is the best animation related book ever.</P>

<P>You MUSTTT go for GNOMON video tutorials for CHaracter Animation in Maya, they'll tell you every aspect of character animation in Maya with the help of bouncing ball... the fundamental of animation !!</P>

carlos baena,cameron miyasaki,keith lango,they all subscribe to a more
snappy cartoony kind of animation which is really juicy...<br>
