Hey All,
Want to stay updated with the new topics on cgTantra forums? Get subscribed with the cgTantra RSS (http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/external.php). Its really easy and makes it very handy to keep a track of the topics on the forums.
For more information about RSS - Check FAQ by Google about Google Reader (http://www.google.com/help/reader/faq.html)

Firefox Users - Firefox browser detects RSS automatically and shows an Orange RSS logo in the address bar. Click on it while you are browsing your favorite forum section or forum home page and rest will be done in easy steps.
e.g. If you want a notification of all the new topics in the forums, go to http://forums.cgtantra.com and click on the rss logo > choose your favorite RSS reader and BAM !!! U are done...
If you want a notification on Finished Word - 2D (http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=36) section, go to that forum section and click on the RSS logo and follow the instructions.
Other Browsers - Browsers that don't auto-detect RSS may use the links in the following for all the forum sections -
http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/external.php
And for a particular section -
http://cgtantra.com/forums/external.php?forumids="forumID"
Where forumID is the ID of your chosen forum section. Check the page address of your forum section and the last digits are the forumID for it.
e.g. When you click on the Finished Work 3D Stills (http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=33), check the address of this section. It shows - http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=33
So the forumID for this section is 33. That makes your link for RSS to be -
http://cgtantra.com/forums/external.php?forumids=33 (http://cgtantra.com/forums/external.php?forumids=33)
You can combine multiple forums into one feed, like this:
http://cgtantra.com/forums/external.php?forumids=33,36
Which is for Finished Work - 2D and Finished Work - 3D
These RSS wont work for few Member specific forum sections like Jobs and Freelance section because they require the user to be signed in to access them.
