Hello guys , this is my first post on Cgtantra. Hope u like it . Done with 3ds Max9
and rendered in vray 1.5 .

awesome modeling dude...

but u have to work a lot on ur lighting and studio setup for rendering a car

the chrome material on the Wheels are looking dark because they dont have anything to reflect
and i think u have put a huge plane on the top as i can see the reflections on the car ..

the solution's wd be
1. create an environment in CG...so that the car can reflect something
2. throw in a HDR image and composite it into a photograph
3. make a studio setup for car rendering ...

I would advice u to go to

and check out many of the WIP section , ul get an idea on how to ...
and do check out the tutorials sections there is a hell lot of tutorials for 3dsmax ..

- the headlamps looks like a texture .. is it so ??
- ur render is a bit blurry .. adjust the filters
- the side lamps needs improvements
- model the interiors also ..

First of all thank you for the quick reply and writting such a long comment .
Yeah! I am consistently working to improve my lighting and composition. I tried using HDRI , but it's affecting the whole body of the car and it's giving very "weird" results .
I didn't find any good tutorials for studio rendering . I will check out the website to see if there are good tutorials available on studio rendering .

can u post some images of ur weird artifacts ... ?? i m not much of a HDR pro , but i might be able to help u out..

Well i dont have any of the wierd HDR renders as i tried them for learning .. may be stryik3r can post his weird image of car while using HDRI.. can you post pls..

well "awesme" is the word,the car was lookng sexy bfre also but due 2 bad lting it was gvn a dull look now its lukng perfct ..well would lve 2 knwwhat tutorials you followed or cud you plzz snd me a brief tutorial of how u made sch a nice model !!

dear Sunny , Thank you for your comments. I didn't used any tutorial for modeling . I just followed the simple making of Lamborghini Gallardo .

hey stryik3r...thats one beautiful car u have got there buddy, can i have the keys :D ....your studio render looks nice but try to work on the studio lighting again...i bet u will get another gr8 result of the car...anyways whats that red triangular patch near the front tyre :confused: just look into that patch..

work on the tyres,tyres are not looking like tyres & tyre texture looks bad fix that also....
give some reflection for the glasses

even i am not so good in studio lighting, still learning ....though my car looks good the studio lighting is not perfect but, working my way to make it perfect, what i would suggest you is first visit www.cg-cars.com there you get lot of tutorials, wips and all the information regarding cars, your modelling is good only requires is shading and lighting, study those excellent cgchoice cars and there lighting setup.......

studio lighting usually have soft shadows...and lighting in such a way that each and every detail of your car is shown...good glossyreflection so that your carpaint shader and other details of the car are visible properly
