I change the character-design but I keep the mood of the painting.
i used 3DS MAX for modelling and Hair and fur plugins for Hair effects, Vray for rendering,photoshop for texturing, hope you like it.

nice wrk!!! ....
looks almost real ....

u can have some color variation to the furry cap! for now it looks flat!

and the lighting color in the back grnd image and the face doesnt match

Excellent… very realistic work. Especially I like the side mammoth bone. And hair and furs are arranged very nicely. And especially I like the second wire-frame image …
