New to CG Tantra? Learn how to post High Res Images here!

Many Noobs here didnt know how to post an image or thumbnail in the forum so i decided to write a tutorial for them...


For those of you who are new to CG Tantra, or would like to know how to host your images and post them online, I've put together a walk-thru of using http://imageshack.us/, an image hosting site which is free (up to a certain capacity) for its users.

Here goes

1. Go to http://imageshack.us/. Click on the "Browse" button.

2. Once you have browsed to and selected your image file on your local hard drive, click " host it "

3. Here you can see that your image has been uploaded and assigned a unique URL by http://imageshack.us/. COPY the URL (Ctrl +C) before you go back to CG Tantra.com to post your image/s.

4.Now back at CG Tantra.com on whichever thread you wish to reply to, click the "Post Reply" button that appears at the bottom of every individual's post.

5.Click the "Insert Image" icon to insert your image. A dialog box will appear into which you PASTE (Ctrl + V) the URL of the image you have uploaded to http://imageshack.us/.

PASTE the URL into the dialog box that appears after you have clicked the "Insert Image" icon. Click "Ok". (Note: you can only insert one image at a time).

6.VOILA!! Your image appears in the "Post Reply" editor.
Note: You must type some text in order to post an image.

Once you are happy with the placement of your image and text, click "Submit Reply".

7.To post thumbnails of High res images, Copy (Ctrl+C) the "Thumbnail for Website" URL given by Imageshack
and just Paste ( Ctrl +V) into the text Editor of CG Tantra
and Hit the "Preview Post " Button.

8. .VOILA!! Your image appears in the "Post Reply" editor.
Once you are happy with the placement of your image and text, click "Submit" Button.

Ok this is very helpfil, but i want to know how can i re-upload the same page once agin to finished 3d like that??????

Actually my doubt is about the re-uploading of pages, means i want to show the works on finished work section with some updates that are shown earlier.

I thick this will make sense.

Hmmm..
Dont use the quick reply by pressing the GO button. Their is a POST REPLY button, click on it and you can attach images in your reply.
Was that you were asking ?
