It was roughly 10 months since I decided to sit back and study anatomy..and that slowly lead to my first ever original character design. There were some long breaks in between and I didnt really start on the modeling until the December of 2006. Since then it was exciting as hell to work on and it wouldnt have been the same if it werent for your constant support and feedback !
I wish to thank EVERYONE on CGTantra for being there, and Mr.Kolby who inspired me to start on this project.

Thank You :)

Really Impressive & Inspiring stuff man !! i can see the dedication here..seriously !
I liked the first one..maybe you could have minimize the darkness of those mountains..to give more depth and importance to the character..maybe its just me..

I think this should be on front page :)

Looking forward to see more amazing stuff from your side mate !

Thanks for the comments guys,I'm very glad that you like the final result :)

@shyamsriram,hellsangel: Thanks guys,it would be an honor if that happens :D Regarding the composites, well,I've spent a lot of time tweaking and finally called it done...thanks for the suggestions,I hope to improve upon this the next time!
@chinmoy: Thanks, the background from Scene 1 is actually a location from Switzerland, with some PSing ;) Scene 2's background is a matte that I've made in PS,it has roughly 10 different photos in it.

i have added it to my favourite set of images already. This is beautiful work. The second image you have color graded has a very '300' look and feel to it.
I have followed your progress through your 'Dinotaur' and the result is very impressive. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys :)

@slain: Thanks! The variation was actually inspired by the 300's color tone ;)

@damncreative:Thanks! Blizzard's artwork was always a great source of inspiration!

@PradeepNaidu:You need to be one of these to be eligible : Human,Minotaur,T-Rex
ugh...seriously,...feel free to say anything !! I'd love to hear what everyone has to say,and any feedback I get will be of help with my next character!
And you can post your work either in Finished Work - 3D Stills section or in the Work in Progress - 3D Stills as applicable.

thanks dude,
Your first two imags are awsome, i love the way u have built the mood to it,
But on the third i feel, the marks on his belts (those white writings)Looks as if its asking for more attention, it looks self illuminated.and when u run ur eyes around the art work , ur last view will stop on that marks which is not important to show becos our main interest lies in his face and his expressions, I m sure you have thought abt ths or you migt have kept it on some purpose which i dont knw..

And your character is not standing out from the BG,.

And also in your first images, The edge of the cliff where he is standing looks quite blurred, Could it be little sharper?,so that the cliff stands out from the bg.

But overall grt wrk dude.....

@Illuminati : Thanks ! glad you liked it :)
@aaaaCHoooo: Thanks man, abou th e rig,I think I might do some experiments with SkinFX for muscle simluation, but dont know when :P
@Pradeep:Thanks for your feedback ! The runes on his belts were meant to look self-illuminated,but I guess I should've given them more attention...or should I say less attention ;)
I agree about the character merging into the back instead of poppingout;I got that from many, thanks again...I'll surely keep these in mind next time

@Subhendu: Thanks! glad to hear that you liked the texture.About the software that I'd used:
