very pleasant feel.....cant really crit much since the whole landscape
is in focus rather than any particular object...though that one
straight bean of light looks very unnatural......and the butterflies(if
thas what they are) and the birds seem to have a very uncanny
symmetry.....
apart from that...i like the mood of the image.....
can we get a link to the short??
hehehe...good observation..myself did not even noticed that the
flowers(u thought butterfly) and the birds formed a symetry...but dont
worry, in the animation, the birds starts with that form and spreads to
a different form so nolonger they remain in symetry...that beam of
light bothers me too..actually there are a bunch of spotlights are
there to creat that sun from the cloud effect, for unknown reason that
particular spot sucks most of the fog density...dont ask me why..i dont
know

that was a quick reply....well...in case those are flowers then dont u
think they should be spread out a little more than be concentrated in
one area in a more or less specific formation??....since its wild grass
and not a tended garden?
about the light...mayyyybe u could place a spot with a low density fog
right behind it to help it blend with the background.....hope that
helps..:)...
and yeah..again.....can i have a liink to that animation??
well....animation, i am not sure, right now little crezy with other things, need to compress it(right now it is in HD format).

flowers..if u see the image..the landscape is like: first big plants
and then grass and then small flowers..all are moving in gentle
breez..in animation it is more prominent...but well, it is very
subjective matter

regarding the fog light, as i mentioned, i had bunch of low density
foglights of same intensity, but somehow this particular one was kind
of getting thicker, the best way to solve it was to render it in
different pass, but already it was taking so long to raytress in HD
format that i was kind of gave up on it and also when the birds were
passing the light, this particular one was giving the best
silhouette, so i just kept it like that.
