So is this for a company you are working for? And if possible could we see some 2d design? And usually its good idea to show the front and side view also, so that we can give you a better critique. Preferably with wire frames

Also I was wondering why did you model him in leg open pose? Normally people model the legs in a relaxed pose

No no, this is not for a company. (I'll dance on burning coal the day I get a job in CG)

It is for a team event being held between all MAAC centers.

Well, the original sketch made by the artist in our group was a very simple one (and doesn't match the current model).........then, I was asked to give it a cuter look, so I remade the character from scratch (keeping in mind the disney-ish look)

okay, here's a somewhat relaxed leg pose.....

.....and here are the wires.

Hey Prithvi,

So pratically you made this without any drawing. MMmmmmmm. bad idea

If you look disney character, they are usually round overall(Lilo and Stitch,Snow White). You need to look at those films again.

So overall I am saying your model is very flat especially the face and that kills the appeal of your character. What u should haev done is gone on the internet and found some cartoony drawings of bees. Like this one

You can always use this as guide for model. Also the legs are modelled in a wrong way, and hence you will have problems with rigging. As you see from the drawings above the legs are actually more in the center.

Plus looking at real bee anatomy would also help you to model better

Hope that helps
