Hey Guys,

This Character of mine is pretty stupid and he's jumped from a 2rd floor kinda height and he's to land on a very bouncy surface. And during his bounces and bounces, he bounces over his head and butt too.

We are using character studio for this project and for the bounces on his hands and legs, i can use the planted key for 3-4 frames during his contact to the surface for some hold, but how can i plant his head and butt somehow so that he doesnt move his head and butt et all for that time....

I want to fix his head ther for few frames and make his body move... any solutions or suggestions so that i can do that someother way ????

hi abhishek,

i think this is the drawback of character studio. u kant plant any other body part to ground like bones. Just try using the helper to the head with link contriant, and then try to contraint that dummy to the ground but it is to tidious, or u can try in chracter studio -key info-head-target blend value 1.

othewise u have to animate manualy. And if you get any other option the pl explain hear also.

Yeah... thats a nice idea.. makes bit tideous but works... i t had many bounces.. so tried all the ways....
But keepin in mind the retakes, if ther any.. i made it work manually
.. coz if a single change comes in, may be aobut the timing of
animation or of the scene, itll be tough to tweak it out...
So id do it all manually !!!
