SWORD IN THE STONE???
Hi CG Tantrics, I'm so much excited that i'm taking part in a challenge specially conducted by CGTANTRA India.
I got to know about the challenge in the cgtantra bangalore workshop. I thought why not i do something in which the phrase "sword in the stone" visually there in the scene but still coveys the message. I used cg elements like bg buildings & main building, sky, plants. But the software which is extensively used to get the feel of my concept is photoshop.
Check out the wips & concepts shown below. Feel free to give any critics & comment. Thats the i can sharpen up my knowledge. Thank u..

CONCEPT
I believe the phrase has very powerful meanings in different ways. According to the phrase whoever takes the sword out of the stone is capable of being a king. King means the “Ruler”. It also indicates that the person who is capable of doing such thing is special also you can “The Chosen One”.
In my concept human being has reached the extreme limit of power, hatred & greed. This has propelled the mankind into war. These are the primary enemy of the mankind. So the enemy is nothing but himself.
War has taught lessons to us several times, but we don’t realize the consequences & we still fall in the trap of evil inside us. This time the war is nothing but apocalypse. The artificial man made Atomic/ Nuclear bomb played very well in the man made battle arena. But can mankind survive through this?
This is where the concept lies. Till now whatever difficulties have come on Human kind, we’ve survived. According to the Hindu mythology when the crime reaches its extreme limit, Lord Krishna comes to earth & saves us. In several mythologies it’s the same thing with different characteristics. The chosen one sent by lord protects us.
This image is the visual representation of the idea that has been heard from the time man became civilized.

The city has been destroyed by the use of DoomsDay Machine (Popularly known as the Nuclear weapons made to be activated automatically once it detects any use of nuclear weapon.
But the might god has sent “PROOF OF LIFE”. The rays of light and the small organic plants represents that it’s not the end of the beautiful world. Life which has experienced the time of non-countable years has at last found its way.
So the point is Life goes on but “how much value & respect we give to it?”
