Hey Tantriks,
This is my first submission to any of the Forums.
As the challenge is essentially design-driven with a strong emphasis on the story behind the subject of the artwork, I thought of not to deviate from the subject. So, I used the sword to highlight that particular era and the theme.
As the sword has a strong relation with the future king of England, it should have royal motifs. So I used a crown to depict that only a royal blood or a person with qualities of a king can remove it.
As we all know, lion is the king of jungle, nothing could be better then the face of roaring lion. Inspiration came from King Ashoka’s pillar.
Thought of using a human figure also, but dropped the idea because of the time constraint.
Still to create a background and some effects, if the time permits
Suggestions Welcome!
Software used: Maya 8.5, Photoshop 7.0
